Certificate of Christian Studies
15 Credit Hours
Our Certificate in Christian Studies may be completed in one year by taking two classes each Thursday evening or in two years by taking one course at a time.
The Certificate mirrors the curriculum for the first year of the M.Div. program. It consists of 12 credit hours of academic study of the Bible, including courses in Old and New Testament Survey, Theology, and your choice of Preaching or Teaching and Learning.
Students are also assigned a mentor for three terms. There are no practicum requirements.
Students have the option to transfer certificate credits into a full degree program at any time.

Our Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) is a three‑year course of study intended to prepare students for Christian ministry and leadership.
Along with studies in Old and New Testament, Theology, Church History, and Biblical Languages, students are required to be involved in a local church and to meet with a CVS approved mentor during their course of studies.

Our Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (MABS) degree is a three-year course of study.
Biblical courses include Old and New Testament Survey, Genesis, The Prophets, Romans, Ephesians, and 1 Peter.
Entrance Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
